Boilerhouse x Biscuit Factory

We were invited last week to be a part of a Summer Night Market event hosted by our new neighbours, The Biscuit Factory. The evening’s focus was on Italy and we were joined at the event by brands such as Travel Bureau, Salisa Boutique, House of Fraser and Corney and Barrow wine merchants.

Our stand featured a styling station where we demoed quick and easy looks perfectly suited for a summer holiday, and we also invited guests to have their hair styled; braids and curls both proved to be big hits.

We put together a selection of holiday hair care too, sampling products across our ranges stocked at both our Jesmond and Ouseburn site. These included Balmain travel packs and minis, Compact Tangle Teezers in a range of summery prints, Spongellé body buffers, Schwarzkopf styling products and mini Fabuloso colour conditioners – the ultimate in keeping your hair colour en pointe in between appointments, especially during the sunnier months.

Saskia and Sal were on hand to offer skin tests, on the spot consultations and hair care advice throughout the event. We loved being able to direct people to the Biscuit Factory’s café too for a fabulous view of the neon roof sign for our new Ouseburn site, and we enjoyed sampling the Ischian bean soup provided by our stall neighbours Travel Bureau.
In all, the entire event was friendly, varied and a fun way to spend a Thursday evening.
