Facials

Is your skin suffering at the hands of any of these troubling conditions? Book a custom facial at Boilerhouse Ouseburn! All of our facials begin with a deep cleanse and exfoliation before you fully relax into a neck and shoulder massage and enjoy a customised mask.
This classic European treatment is customised to your skin and begins with a deep cleanse, followed by an exfoliation process to reveal smooth, glowing skin.
This facial has been designed specifically for teenage skin. It begins by cleansing the skin with a medical grade, salicylic-based solution to kill acne-causing bacteria. Steaming, exfoliation and extractions are also performed, followed by an acne mask and oil free moisturiser.
A classic deep cleansing facial beginning with an intensive cleanse, steam and enzymatic exfoliation. Followed by gentle extractions and a clay mask to absorb any excess oil. Rebalancing treatment serums and moisturisers are then applied to nourish the skin leaving it clear and glowing.
This treatment consists of a special exfoliation scrub and pore extractions to leave skin revived, refreshed and invigorated.
Microdermabrasion
This 45 minute treatment uses fine, abrasive crystals to buff away impurities on the surface layer of the skin, leaving your skin feeling youthful and smooth. This facial includes cleansing, steaming, extractions, microdermabrasion, a neck and shoulder massage and a soothing mask.
Microdermabrasion is effective in the treatment of:
– Acne prone skin / Acne scarring
– Black/White heads
– Fine lines & wrinkles
– Sun damage
– Superficial age spots
– Hyper-pigmentation
– Oily skin and/or dry, patchy skin.
Chemical Peels
*Please note: 24 hr patch test is required.
30% Jan Marini Glycolic Peel –
A gentle skin peel performed with 30% of glycolic acid.
Glycolic acid loosens the ‘glue-like’ attachments or ‘cellular cement’ that is characteristic of many skin conditions such as ageing, acne, skin discolouration and coarse texture. After just a few weeks skin looks brighter, clearer, hydrated and smooth.
The Perfecting Peel is formulated as a unique peeling option to combat ageing, discoloured, breakout-prone and sensitive skin. This gentle alpha hydroxy acid solution improves surface texture and fine lines, while helping to promote an even skin tone.
This multi-faceted and skin-brightening treatment is an excellent option for sensitive skin and higher Fitzpatrick skin types.
Using a combination of microdermabrasion and chemical exfoliation to brighten, smooth and clear the skin. This signature treatment is best for those looking to get the glow back to their skin. It is also great for acne-prone and oily skin types. Microdermabrasion is performed first, before a chemical peel best suited to your skin is applied.
Please note: The skin might be flaky for two to three days. There is no redness or swelling with treatment.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is the skin care treatment that removes dead skin cells and vellus hair – also known as “peach fuzz”.
Using a sterile blade, while holding the skin taut swiping the blade in gentle upward motions. The blade is used on clean, dry skin on the forehead, cheeks, chin, nose and neck. It’s painless! The blade removes the top layer of dead skin cells to reveal a lower, more smooth layer. This gives you a brighter and smoother complexion.
